Born and raised in Miami, Gregg Avedon is a professional model. It was in Milan where Gregg found success early on, walking down the runways of all the biggest designers including Giorgio Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Krizia, Trussardi, and Valentino, just to name a few. He has been on about one hundred covers of magazines and catalogues combined and has appeared in every notable publication, including Esquire, International Male, GQ, Vanity Fair and Uomo Vogue. Gregg holds the distinctive record of being the only man to appear on sixteen Men's Health covers worldwide. He also has a national TV commercial spot for Gillette's Mach 3 Razor.In 1996 his ardent focus on acting intensified, and he began studying full time in New York. From there, he continued working on his acting career in Los Angeles with the help of a private coach and personal manager. He made an appearance on HBO's "Sex And The City". Penning the script for the film entitled "Everything Sacred", Gregg also directed, produced, and starred in for Ben Affleck and Matt Damon's Project Greenlight. Recently premiering in Miami, "The Last Offering" stars Gregg in this independent short film about love, betrayal, and sacrifice. In addition, he's also wrapped a film entitled "The 17th Man", which is currently being submitted to film festivals nationwide, and starred in a short masters film project called "Conditional Paradise." Currently in post-production, Gregg stars in the drama, "Recipe for Grieving," in which he plays a man who suddenly loses his wife to cancer, and must find a way to go on with his life. Along with that, he also finished playing a role in the comedy, "Don't Wait Up."
An agent discovered HIM at the local mall, and asked to represent him.After college, he worked at a graphic design agency in Tallahassee, but within a year was back home in Miami working as a freelance artist.He earned extra money by working as the senior photographer for "Shout! Magazine" (a collegiate publication well known throughout the Southeast U.S.).Graduated in the University of Florida with a Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design.His favorite watersports are scuba diving and skiing, he also enjoys the more relaxing sport of fishing.
